Bill High

Bill High is best known for three words: Family, legacy, and generosity. He leads workshops for families around the country on the essentials of family legacy with an emphasis on resetting to the biblical definition of family. He practiced law with one of the largest law firms in Kansas City, then founded one of the largest Christian foundations in the country before focusing his efforts in the family legacy consulting area. He is the author and co-author of several books, including “Leadership NOT by the Book”, with David Green, the CEO and Founder of Hobby Lobby, and “The Legacy Life:
Leading Your Family to Make a Difference for Eternity” to be released October 14, 2025.
Bill High was brought up in a low-income family in rural Missouri and came to know Jesus at a young age. His generosity journey began as a teenager, faithfully tithing on everything he earned. Through his work in the charitable foundation space, Bill developed a passion for seeing individual families united by a clear and driving mission and vision that reflects God’s particular calling for them. As CEO of Legacy Stone, a ministry founded by Bill High, he is dedicated to equipping families to intentionally build a multi-generational legacy of faith. The ministry provides small group and family curriculum, workshops, teaching and training. Legacy Stone is pleased to release its newest small group and on-demand curriculum: The Family Conflict Blueprint. Bill lives in the Kansas City area and has been married to Brooke for 37 years, and they have 4 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, and 5
grandchildren.
